Auf dem Smiling Gecko Campus betreiben wir eine facettenreiche Musterlandwirtschaft, in der wir das Wissen um nachhaltige Anbaupraktiken anwenden und landwirtschaftliche Klimainformationen effektiv nutzen. So schaffen wir neben exzellenten Lebensmitteln und tierischen Produkten in Bioqualit\u00e4t eine Zukunft f\u00fcr Menschen, die es endlich nicht mehr in die Elendsquartiere Phnom Penhs treibt. Die ein Einkommen erzielen. Die ihre Familien ern\u00e4hren. Obst- und Gem\u00fcseanbau<\/span><\/h5><\/div><\/div>\n \t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Langbohnen, Bittermelonen, Mango und mehr als 30 weitere Obst- und Gem\u00fcsesorten wachsen auf den Feldern und in den Gew\u00e4chsh\u00e4usern der Smiling Gecko Farm. Mit einem Grossteil der Produktion denken wir den Eigenbedarf auf dem Campus. Etwaige \u00dcbersch\u00fcsse gehen in die Inlandsvermarktung und vor allem auch in die lokale Soforthilfe in Notsituationen, die wir leider st\u00e4ndig haben.<\/p><\/div>\n \t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

F\u00fcr den Eigenbedarf in unserer Grossk\u00fcche und in den Farmhouse Restaurants sowie zum Verkauf auf den M\u00e4rkten der Region m\u00e4sten und schlachten wir kambodschanische Rinder. Auch mit der Schweinezucht haben wir in der Vergangenheit umfangreiche Erfahrungen gesammelt. Die H\u00fchnerhaltung ist verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4ssig einfach und wird seit jeher von den l\u00e4ndlichen Familien praktiziert. Wir unterst\u00fctzen sie dabei, indem wir im grossen Stil H\u00fchner z\u00fcchten, die wir zur Mast an die Familien aus der Umgebung abgeben. Fisch ist ein Eckpfeiler in der Ern\u00e4hrung Kambodschas. Darum haben wir uns der Fischzucht und -m\u00e4stung angenommen und produzieren heute neben den sogenannten Fingerlingen f\u00fcr die interne und externe Aufzucht j\u00e4hrlich auch rund 20 Tonnen verzehrfertigen Fisch f\u00fcr unsere K\u00fcchen sowie die Inlandsvermarktung.<\/p><\/div>\n \t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
